Vietnam North and Centre & Angkor Complex (10 Days)

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (Vietnam)

Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (B, L) 

Take full day city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, his House on stilt and One Pillar pagoda. Next, visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology where you can learn different life aspects of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. After lunch, enjoy a cyclo tour to visit the Old Quarter & Ho Guom lake then enjoy the traditional water puppet show.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Enjoying the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. Upon arrival, board a overnight cruise to discover the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy full board meals and many indoor & outdoor activities. Overnight on the cruise. 

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B, L)

Join a Tai Chi session then enjoy an international breakfast while the cruise cruises among hundreds of islets before coming back to the pier. Drive back to the airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. 

Day 5: Hue (B, L)

Enjoy a full day tour in the former imperial capital of Hue. A boat trip on Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda then visit to the Imperial Citadel. After lunch, visit the elaborate tombs of King Khai Dinh & King Tu Duc.

Day 6: Hue – Hoian (B)

Leave Hue for Hoian. Visit the Cham museum & Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoian. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and free at leisure.

Day 7: Hoian Ancient Town – Da Nang – Flight to Siem Reap (B) (Cambodia)

You will enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge. Continue with a visit to the home of a craftsman where you will discover the daily life of local people and see how they make a lantern. Later, take a flight to Siem Reap.

Day 8: Angkor Thom & The Grand Circuit (B, L)

Transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant terrace, Leper King terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas and Bayon temple. After lunch, continue to visit to the highlights of the Grand Circuit including Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. Late afternoon, watch sunset over Angkor Wat then return to town.

Day 9: Angkor Wat & The Small Circuit (B, L, D)

Make a visit to Angkor Wat in the early morning to watch sunrise then get back hotel for breakfast (Optional).

Visit to the highlights of the Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and the jungle-clad Ta Prohm. After lunch, Visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. In the evening, enjoy a dinner with traditional dance show.

Day 10: Siem Reap & Tonle Sap Lake – Departure (B, L)

Visit the Elegant temple of Banteay Srei (“Citadel of the women”) and Banteay Samre. After lunch, transfer to visit the Tonle Sap Lake. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the people in this village then return to the airport for the departure flight.
