Vietnam Classic & Angkor Complex (13 Days)

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (Vietnam)

Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi (B, L)

Take full day city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, his House on stilt and One Pillar pagoda. Next, visit the Temple of Literature–the first university of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology where you can learn different life aspects of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. After lunch, enjoy a cyclo tour to visit the Old Quarter & Hoan Kiem lake then watch a performance of a traditional Water Puppet Theatre.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D) 

Depart for Halong Bay. Upon arrival, embark on a cruise and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karts with different formations and then stop for a walk through the Amazing cave. There will be plenty of time for kayaking, swimming and sunbathing after the cruise anchors at a clean calm sea. Enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B, L) 

Enjoy breakfast while cruising on the bay before stopover at the pearl farm to see the actual cultured pearl of fishermen. Back to cruise for check-out while the cruise will take you further to discover the hidden beauty of the bay. Cooking class is opened for everyone who are interested in Vietnamese food. Cruises back to the harbor then transfer to the airport for a flight to Hue.

Day 5: Hue (B, L)

Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue city then discover the Imperial Citadel & Forbidden Purple City where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 – 1945. After lunch, continue to visit the elaborate tombs of emperors Tu Duc & Khai Dinh where you will learn about Royal’s life and their architecture.

Day 6: Hue – Hoian (B)

Transfer by car over the most spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hoian. En route, visit the Marble Mountain, Cham Museum and the Stone Village. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour to visit Ancient Town. You then continue with a visit to the home of a craftsman where you will discover the daily life of local people and observe how they make a lantern.

Day 7: Hoian – Da Nang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Take free day to explore more the ancient town or relax on the beach until transfer to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. 

Day 8: Mekong Delta (B, L) 

Transfer to Mekong Delta then take a boat trip to discover Caibe floating market. Next, visit to a village for watching process of making local products, observing daily activities, enjoy Vietnamese traditional music then take a small sampan rowing by hand of local to feel the real Mekong river. After lunch, visit to a local brick kiln before taking another boat to Vinh Long, the center of tropical fruits and stopping for a short visit at a local market.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

Driver to Cu Chi district to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. After lunch, transfer back to the city to visit the main sights including the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, War Remnants museum and Ben Thanh market.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Flight to Siem Reap (B) (Cambodia)

Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, pick up to hotel for check in.

Day 11: Angkor Thom & The Grand Circuit (B, L)

Transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant terrace, Leper King terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas and Bayon temple. After lunch, continue to visit to the highlights of the Grand Circuit including Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. Late afternoon, watch sunset over Angkor Wat then return to town.

Day 12: Angkor Wat & The Small Circuit (B, L, D)

Visit to the highlights of the Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and the jungle-clad Ta Prohm. After lunch, Visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. In the evening, enjoy a dinner with traditional dance show.

Day 13: Siem Reap & Tonle Sap Lake – Departure (B, L)

Make a visit to Angkor Wat in the early morning to watch sunrise then get back hotel for breakfast (Optional).

Visit the temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. After lunch, transfer to Phnom Krom for a boat trip on the Tonle Sap lake to visit the floating villages then get back to the airport for your own departure flight.
