Holiday in Cambodia & Thailand (14 Days)



Destinations: Cambodia (Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake) – Thailand (Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai – Phuket Island)
Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival (Cambodia)
Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free at leisure.
Day 2: Phnom Penh – Flight to Siem Reap (B, L)
Transfer to visit the main sights including Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Friendship & Independence Monuments, National Museum and Wat Phnom. After lunch, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the site is a former high school where was used as a prison by the communist Khmer Rouge and transfer to the Killing Fields where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the communist Khmer Rouge during the late 1970s. In the evening, take a flight to Siem Reap.
Day 3: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B, L, D)
Transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm Temple. After lunch, visit the Angkor Wat where is one of the 7 wonders of the world. In the evening, enjoy a dinner in front of a traditional dancing show at the Apsara Theatre.
Day 4: Banteay Srey & Big Circuit (B, L)
You will enjoy the sunrise at Angkor Wat (Optional) and spend the whole morning to explore the greatest fine-art of Angkor Empire at Banteay-Srey Temple. After lunch, visit the Grand Circuit of Temples: Preah Khan, Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Neak Poan and Ta Som. Late afternoon, you will enjoy sunset at Pre Rup Temple.
Day 5: Tonle Sap Lake – Siem Reap – Flight to Bangkok (B) (Thailand)
Enjoy a boat trip on the Tonle Sap lake. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the locals in this village then get back to the airport for a flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, pick up to hotel for check in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 6: Bangkok (B, L)
You will make a city tour including the Royal Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho – the largest Buddhist temple with its colossal reclining Buddha. After lunch, take a ferry to Wat Arun, it is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location, but also because the design is very different to the other temples you can visit in Bangkok. Next, visit Wat Traimit, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then transfer back to hotel.
Day 7: Floating Market & Mae Klong Market (B, L)
Pick up for Damnoen Saduak floating market. On the way will be passing the largest source of salt production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway. Visit Mae Klong market where the train tracks run right through the marketplace. Next, visit Coconut Garden and see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut syrup of coconut flower. Then take long-tail boat going along narrow canal surround the plantation. Arrive at Damnoen Saduak floating market then see a fascinating Thai way of life from the ancient time that is still widely practiced in this area. Depart from floating market to visit wooden handy craft factory where they will show you how to produce wood carving then transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok.
Day 8: Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Mai (B, D)
You will transfer to the airport for a flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, meet guide and transfer to hotel for check in. Late afternoon, you will enjoy the super northern Thai dinner with charming Fon-lep (Finger dance), Fon-tein (Candle dance), Ramwong (Candle dance). After Khantoke dinner, enjoy yourself again by watching shows which are performed by the hill tribes Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu and Karen.
Day 9: Chiang Mai & Elephant Safari Tour (B, L)
Visit the Mae Tang elephant camp and see elephant at work. Take a memorable elephant riding 45 minutes through the jungle, visit the Lisu village. Then take the ox-cart riding back to the camp. Lunch is provided. In the afternoon, do adventurous bamboo rafting for 1 hour along Maetang River. The rest of the day is to visit the Orchid & Butterfly farm on the way back to Chiang Mai.
Day 10: Chiang Rai (B, L)
Drive to visit the hot spring on the way to Chiang Rai. Continue driving for 1.5 hours to White Temple (Wat Rongkhun). Then carry on to the three country borders meet which called ‘ Golden Triangle” take long tail boat on Khong River. After lunch, drive to Maesai, the Thailand & Myanmar border city. Finally, visit the Akha, Yao and Long Neck hill tribe villages on the way back to Chiang Mai.
Day 11: Chiang Mai 1/2 Day Tour – Flight to Phuket Island (B, D)
Visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. The temple compound offers a great view of Chiang Mai and surrounding countryside. A visit to Meo village will be made then transfer to airport for a flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, meet driver and transfer to hotel in Phuket. In the evening, driver transfer to Phuket Fantasea for enjoy a buffer dinner then enjoy Thai culture show. After that back to hotel.
Day 12: Phi Phi & Maya & Khai Nok Island by Speedboat (Join-in trip) (B, L)
Pick up then depart for Khai Island. On arrival, you will have time for swimming, snorkeling or feeding fish at the beach. After buffet lunch, depart for Phi Phi Don Island where you will discover coral reefs and beautiful fish at the wonderful diving place. Here, you will also visit and take photos with a lot of monkeys at monkey bay. Late afternoon, depart for Phi Phi Lae Island. En route, you will pass by Viking cave, a place for swallows nest concession. Continue with a visit to Pileh cove where you will be wondered and take photo shots of Loh Samah bay that looks like a gate. Later, visit to Maya bay where the beach was filmed. Here, you will watch the superb view and enjoy your relaxing time before departing back to your hotel.
Day 13: Phuket – Free at Leisure (B)
Free at leisure for relax on the beach. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 14: Phuket Departure (B)
Meet driver and transfer to the airport in Phuket for your own departure flight home.
